The Father Knows How

1.The Father knows how to deliver the godly
Out of trial and save us from sins;
The Father knows how in His way to mature us,
He knows how to deal with His children.

He loves and He cares more than we know and comprehend,
His heart is towards us that we may be like Him,
He disciplines those whom He loves.
That we may live a holy life with Him

2.Though we're short-sighted of the future uncertain,
We can trust Him to lead us the way;
The Father knows best, to His own He has promised,
Provision of life under His care

3.The Father knows what lies ahead may not easy.
But His all-grace cheers along the way;
The Father knows when you're in twinge or discouraged;
He knows when you've tried and have failed.

4.The Father knows when parting moments are nearing,
He knows in your heart there is pain,
His words assures us that His presence will be there,
While hoping one day we'll meet again.

5. At times in yourself in confusion would wander,
You can trust Him, respite and be still,
He's got all the answer to your questions unspoken;
He knows and He can meet all your needs.

6. We have His Spirit as another Comforter;
To help us in our weaknesses prays;
He knows and He searches from the depths of our being,
Interceding that we may be strengthened!

7. He knows the feeling when you are broken-hearten,
He can sympathize at your grief;
For once in like manner He as man was forsaken,
He's a "Friend" to whom you can open.
